On April 1, 2011, I thought I was so hilarious. I did the usual "I'm Pregnant!" announcement via text to my family. My dad immediately called my grandma, who called her friends. It was spreading FAST and kind of getting out of control!
My dad called me crying because he was so excited. I felt absolutely horrible telling him it was a joke! He was so confused...what!? A joke? I said yes, it is April Fool's! Oh my. I felt so bad. It wasn't even funny anymore! I learned my lesson for sure. Pregnancy is not a joking matter!
Also, I would never tell my dad or family that I was pregnant via text haha. I thought that would have been obvious, but I guess not! Sorry family....now I wish it really weren't an April fool's joke 2 years ago!
