Cancun 2014

Can you believe January is almost over? I can't. It's crazy how fast this year has gone. It's definitely bitter-sweet. I'm excited because it feels like 2014 is going to be really great for Brad and I.

After several interviews, Brady has accepted a position as a commercial real estate agent with Marcus and Millichap in Phoenix! We are so excited! He will be working specifically with industrial properties. My job is going well at ASU too. I love the people I work with and enjoy being part-time.

For Christmas, Brady bought himself a gun part he had been needing for a while to finish a gun he is building. I told him it was his birthday, graduation and Christmas present because it was expensive. Well I decided to surprise him with a really fun gift because I knew he wouldn't be expecting it! I love surprises. So I went online and purchased an all-inclusive trip to Cancun, Mexico for 5 days! I made a little card with a poem that said:

You've worked so hard
And now it's my treat
To take you away for some sand on your feet.
So don't freak out
Just give it a rest
We're going to Cancun
It will be the best!

I thought of it myself and I was pretty proud! Anyway, we just got home from our trip and it was incredible!! We really enjoyed ourselves and the endless virgin speciality drinks. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

The card I made Brady

Excited at the airport!

Our room! They thought it was our honeymoon so we got rose pedals :)

And champagne! We had to open it. It popped so loud and hit Brady in the head haha!

Lots of virgin drinks!

Our favorite little place at the resort - Blue Agave

Where we ate breakfast every day. Look at the view!

Livin' the life.

Perfection

The pool was beautiful, but it was chilly!

One night at dinner

My favorite virgin drink...a mojito.

Outside our room.

We read on this little thing every night. We loved it.
